Plantar Fasciitis That Just Won't Go Away?

TAME™ PFE is a minimally invasive, image-guided treatment option for appropriately selected patients with persistent Plantar Fasciitis or chronic heel pain.

Another Option for Persistent Heel Pain

Many patients continue to experience heel pain even after stretching, orthotics, Physical Therapy, medications, or injections.

When conservative treatments have not provided adequate lasting relief, TAME™ PFE may be another option for appropriately selected patients.

What Is TAME™ PFE?

TAME™ PFE is an image-guided vascular procedure that selectively treats abnormal blood vessels that may be associated with persistent inflammation around the heel.

Using advanced imaging and a non-surgical approach, the physician targets selected vessels without a major surgical incision.

Unlike a traditional heel or plantar fascia injection, TAME™ PFE approaches the condition through the blood vessels associated with the affected area.

Why Patients Consider TAME™ PFE

  • Minimally invasive treatment
  • No major surgical incision
  • Advanced image-guided precision
  • Typically performed as an outpatient procedure
  • Patients generally return home the same day
  • Designed to preserve the surrounding structures
  • May be an option when stretching, orthotics, Physical Therapy, medications, or injections have not provided adequate lasting relief
